I am sure someone will come along and explain. I have always clicked which ever one is highlighted and it worked fine.

If you turn on Interlacing, your image will downlaod in multiple passes. Kind of like an image that's slowly coming into focus. With todays computers interlacing isn't as useful as it used to be on slower machines. Page 432 The Missing Manual by Barbara Brundage. I don't understand it but that is what the manual had on interlacing. So my best guess is to just check none.

If you are creating the .png file for internet/website use only then check interlaced. If you are creating items to share with fellow scrapbookers then check none. :)
