PSD project

I am making a scrapbook of pictures of the first five years of my grandson. When I finish 1 page I add another blank page, which makes this a project. Is there a limit to how many pages I can have in this project? I don't want it to get too bogged down.

You really should keep each page as a separate project. Scrapbook pages get really large and the larger they get, the more your computer balks.

If you want to use stuff from one page on another page --

Open your first scrapbook page - save it with a new name - then delete the irrelevant layers - keeping only the layers you will need for the next page.
