Where can I find some free backgrounds and extra graphics for PE5?

I am mostly looking for scrapbooking backgrounds for kids, school, zoo, and graphics that go with them.

AND how and where do I install them. I have viewed the video for installing brushes that Matt made.

Thanks everyone!!!! ;)

Conner,
You could Google for some free ones. You can also use your own pictures. Jodi, one of the Forum users sells CD's that have Background plus Frames and Styles. They are cropped to 4/3 ratio.

Here is the path that they are installed in on my computer:
C\Documents and Settings\All Users Windows\Application Data\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 5\photo creations\artwork\backgrounds

Conner,

Many of the scrapbooking sites have freebies for download and lots of tutorials on how to create your own backgrounds and tutorials.

A good place to start ......

Another link to several other sites ......

Also check out the Helpful Links section of this forum. Wendy has a set of Mini Tutorials on Scrapbooking there.

Just a suggestion

Keep most "stuff" out of Elements.

For background papers - there is no need to install them - just open them as you would a photo and move it to the back layer.

The less "junk" that is in Elements itself - the faster the program loads and the better it works.

There are certain things that have to be in Elements to work - but scrapbook kit stuff - embellishments, background, word art - they all stay outside the program.

Google for digital scrapbooking sites - sign up at the sites that interest you - and you will get free stuff just for signing up.
