Do any of you awesome photographers have recommendations for photography books? I am looking for something general to help me take better pictures using the functions of my camera that I am currently clueless about. I have a Canon Digital Rebel XT.

Thanks!

A good general book on digital photography that will improve your shots is by Scott Kelby. It is called the Digital Photography Book. It really should be in everyone's library.

Hi Jessica and welcome. I would recommend the same book by Scott Kelby. Another good one would be Understanding Exposure by David Peterson. We are about to start a book blub on that book here in the forum in a couple of weeks.

Hi Jessica,

Check out the book "Digital Rebel Digital Field Guide by Charlotte Lowrie. You can purchase the book at Amazon for $13.59. Charlotte has loads tips and other information on using the XT.
