help a girl out

I am finally getting the hang of digital scrapbooking but I can't figure out how to put downloaded embelishments into my photoshop creations. Am I missing something? I can get a background onto the page and the pictures but nothing else. I am getting frustrated, help please.

Have you unzipped your embellishments?

If they are "ready to go" - they are handled like the background paper or any photo.
You use the same procedure for embellishments that you do for getting the photos on your page

Hi Janice, my embelishments are unzipped. I can get them into PSE but I can't get them onto the page I am working on? With the pics I just dragged them onto the file no problem but the rest will not drag? I am sure it is something simple that I am overlooking.

If you can't get them to drag, try this. From your embellishment image, Ctrl-A to select, Ctrl-C to copy, then go to your image and Ctrl-V to paste. If that doesn't work, then perhaps your embellishment is not a compatible file format. With it open in Elements, go to Image > Mode from the menu and see what is checked. If it is Indexed Color, check RGB color. Good luck.

Hi ...

Just check what file type the images are they should be png files. If they are then they should drag over OK ... but if they are gifs then you will need to use copy & paste :)
