I have searched and come up empty so I hope someone can advise me.

I would like to add a small signature or initials to the bottom of the photos that I work on and I'm lost on how to accomplish this task.

If there are tutorials or a post telling how to do this please point me in the right direction.:)

Thanks ahead of time...................

Hi Jen, Wendy has a tutorial in the subscribers area on making a signature brush.

Edit: Sorry it isn't in the subscribers area. It is HERE (http://www.photoshopelementsuser.com/forum/showthread.php?t=427)

As that is No 3, did you make a whole series of such tips/tutorials? :)

thanks again,
Lisa

I do have another question on this............I understand how to do the font signature but is there a difference in doing one where you actually draw or write your name. I have a wacom tablet and would like to add my signature.

Hi Jen ...

For that instead of typing in your name using a font just create a new layer and use the tablet to write your name ... then carry on with the rest of the tutorial :)

By the way as well as

Wendy's Mini Tutorials (http://www.photoshopelementsuser.com/forum/showthread.php?t=3641) there is also

Wendy's Scrapbooking Mini Tutorials (http://www.photoshopelementsuser.com/forum/showthread.php?p=88048)

Its worth looking at the scrapbooking ones even if you donlt scrapbook as the techniques are useful for all sorts of other things.

Wendy :)

OK Wendy...........thanks for helping obviously my mind and my fingers don't know one another. My fingers just type whatever and my brain should have know it was that easy but it must have taken a mental health day:o

I should have tested the pen prior to posting can't believe it's so easy. Looking forward to the reunion of my mind and hands...............until then have a great day.

Love your tutorials and I'm inspired by many works of art on this site.

Wendy,

I have the signature stamp down to a science and was wondering if you can change the color of the stamp. I have some dark photos and the dark gray doesn't show up? Or do I have to create a text layer in that case?

Jen,

Once you've made your signature brush you can stamp it in whatever colour you want - just change the foreground colour to something lighter for stamping on a dark background or vice versa.

Thanks Bayla,

I knew it had to be something simple but for the life of me I couldn't figure it out...........it makes so much sense.:o

Thanks for the help............I'm off to stamp something in color now.:)
