Just wanted to know about when I make a scrapbook page on the computer and I want to print it out for hardcopy scrapbook. How do I keep the pix and everything from fading over time? Would laminating the whole thing help?

Depending on your printer... Some have archival quality "scrapbook paper" (I know Epson does). If you print the whole scrapbook page, and then get an acid free/lignen free scrapbook and use the "slide in" page protectors, your pages will probably last a long time. You should probably store the scrapbook on a CD, too, to keep with the scrapbook, but you will need to redo the CD every couple of years, as CD's can deteriorate.

I personally wouldn't laminate the pages. I have some old photos that were laminated and they have gotten very brittle over time.

I agree with using the Epson paper because it always looks great.

There are many, many "archival" quality paper products out now. Just check the package or go to the websites of the on-line printing sites to see their claims.

Hi Rosi ...

... and welcome to the forum :)

I too would suggest that you keep a copy of the images on CD that way ir the printed copy starts to fade then you can simply print out another :)
