I would love to have a manual for Elements. I learn by reading and rereading then doing. The booklet that came with my software said there was a printable PFD on the install disc. I can't find it anywhere. Do any of you folks know where I can print a manual for 5.0?
Thanks!
Sheila:)

It should be there - look for User Help.pdf - it's pretty big for printing - I keep mine on my desktop as it's pretty easy to find things in it by searching the pdf. Consider getting the Missing Manual by Barbara Brundage - that's a lot better than the real thing :)

Hi:
I bought the Missing Manuel & Adobe photoshop A-Z. The A-Z just covers tools and what they do. The Missing Manuel covers everything about the way to use the tools.
However I have found reading these forums and following along with tutorials in the subscriber area was much more effective. We beginners all have the same problem and the advice from these forums is real working problems that others have and I learn from following their instructions. Have fun and always try different ideas that you read about here....Hankw

Welcome to the forum:)
I couldn't function w/o the "Missing Manual". It is definitely the 'manual' for 5.0.

Printing the manual is well worth the time. If you print in draft quality and on both sides, it goes very fast. You need a 3-hole punch to put it in a binder. A ream of copy paper is under $5 so even with ink, you won't have much money in it.
