Trying to Create a Gallery

I am trying to create a Gallery. Can someone please hold my hand & lead me thro' step by step ?

Storm, I think you have done almost everything right. Your Gallery is there when I browse the galleries. You just need to designate the image you have in there as the main image, then it will show up using your signature link. Use the "Access my gallery " link at the top right of the gallery page and click the radio button "Make main" below your image. Good luck!

Thank you Julie & hukari. I click on Main Image & nothing happens below Main Image there is a button with Delete beside it .If I click on that then get Delete prompt.
I followed Wendy's instructions I typed in the url line & when I click on submit Signature I get a 404 message. I just went to my sig again & changed the Quote mark to a hyphen clicked Submit & still get a 404 message.
I typed the url left the brackets in the same places as it showed put seperate brackets e.g.user=my nos]Storm'sgallery[/url] at the end.
Stuck again as usual :D

Storm: I think you've almost got it. You do have a main image and you just need to fix your link. Go back to User CP and follow Wendy's instructions again. You just missed a piece of the url when you did it. (it needs a gallery right before the viewgallery).

Hi Julie -got it straighened out. Then I went & put in another photo & did something wrong again because I have 3 boxes Edit Cation Delete etc on the Gallery page as well.
If you want to add a pic what steps do you exactly take, what do you click first then next etc ? Sorry to be such a nuisance.

Hi Storm: Whatever you did was correct! You now have 3 great images in your gallery and a clickable signature. Everything looks good. To add images, access your gallery, browse to the photo you want to upload, fill in the caption box if you want a caption to appear below the picture in your gallery, then click send. Don't worry, it'll be smooth sailing from here on. And never worry about asking questions - everyone here is glad to help...

Thank you Julie .I think some fairy with a magic wand came along & fixed it
not me :) I thought if I got a Gallery going it might give me more incentive to try a little harder.
