Silk background help

Hey everyone:) I'm working on my next illustration & I thought a nice silk background (sort of like hanging backdrop or curtains) Anyone know of any tutorials or a technique I can use? My last resort will be using a stock image but if I have to I will:p

I also thought there was a tutorial involving chocolate (valentines time??)
I always thought that the chocolate background looked like silk ..just brown.

I'll edit if I find it.:)

Thanks guys, I worked on the background for a while & it's a good technique to know. I finished the picture last night but decided not to use the background.:p
