Curl Effect

Hi I've been following the tutorial video on the curl effect but am stuck. When I go to select the lower corner (to make black) with my majic wand tool. It selects the whole area and gives me a message "Warning: No pixels are more than 50% selected. The selection edges will not be visible"
I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. I'm sure it is something simple.

Hi, Sandy. I haven't done that tutorial, but that message usually means one of two things:

1) You don't have any layer selected; thus, no pixels to select

or

2) You have a blank layer selected (again, no pixels).

Look in your layers palette and make sure you have the correct layer selected and hopefully that will solve your problem.

Hi Sandy ...

It could also be a couple of other things ..

I just took a look at the Video and think that you may be better just getting the lasso and using it to select that area (its pretty easy to to do that :) )
