I don't know a lot about fonts do any of you know this font or one similar? I want to make the card featuring a different instrument-that's why I can't just use the guitar hero part.

I want to do a mock up of this for a card--or has anyone seen a knock off copy (like the ipod people thing)
Thanks for any info.

The font is hand painted for the game cover, I'm sure someone might develop a font soon for it. Here is the logo isolated.

If it is handpainted, you won't find it here. But It is guaranteed that you will find some interesting fonts. These guys are serious fontographers (good spacing, proportion, kerning) with fonts for sale (pretty reasonably, too--$29). However, they have lots of fonts available too as free trials. Font fanatics, start drooling....

Thank you Rob and thank you Vicki,
Rob, I want to make it say accordian hero instead---so I can't just use the logo.
Vicki,
I'll look at those sites--but don't really want to buy a font for one joke card--I'm sure I can find something though.

Gee, Sherry,
I thought only Milwaukee had accordian heroes.
(we even had a big concertina thing recently) :) :)

Sherry, www.Dafont.com (http://www.Dafont.com) has a lot of Gothic and Medival fonts that are pretty cool and some similar. You could find a font that you like and put each letter on its own layer with and style added and place the letters where you want them and then merge all the text layers together. Just a thought.

Rusty,
The person the card is for does play the accordian--but it's not something you usually see him play! And he's British--who knew!
Kimi--sounds like alot of work--but I will check dafont!!! Thanks!

You wouldn't necessarily have to buy a font for a single card.

I found these music fonts (http://www.metalcovenant.com/pages/fonts.htm). I think Iced Earth and Megadeath are similar to the font you showed. Hope this helps

Gary,
I did google a little--only really found the cover (of the game) but I got an idea today of how to use that & then some of those cool fonts Bob found & turn my photo of the person into a cartoon--so I think I can pull something together ---only problem is --is that I should have it done by tomorrow--hmrf-like that's gonna happen.:eek: I let you know how it goes!
