I had a post here a few days ago when I had problems uploading pictures from my camera into PSE4 and it was suggested that I get a card reader. Is there anything that I should be aware of before purchasing a card reader?
Thanks in advance for any responces :)

Ther was a discussion here.

The only thing to be aware of is that it should be USB 2 and get one that handles the newer high capacity cards (assuming you have a camera or might in the future have a camera that will). And of course get one that handles the cards you use (or might want to use)
That said they are all pretty much the same and there's not a lot of sense in spending more than the minimum.

I agree with Tony. Get thee to Best Buy or Circuit City and buy a multi-card capable reader. You shouldn't need to spend more than $20. We carry a compact version from SanDisk when we travel. Very handy for uploading snapshots from Internet cafes when abroad or otherwise PC-less.

Hi Stringbean,
The best advice is in post #4 by Lee (Tony's link). Don't waste any money looking for the "best" reader. Go for lowest cost. They are all about the same and, if and when it craps out, spend ten or fifteen bucks and get another one. I'm closing in on 2 years with my El Cheepo and it shows no signs of problems.
