Hi,
Have you tried Googling?
http://www.google.com/search?source=ig&hl=en&q=%22photoshop+elements%22+beginners+tutorial
Here are a few good sites, in case they don't come up in your Google search:
http://www.graficalicus.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=News&file=index&catid=&topic=7 (http://www.graficalicus.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=News&file=index&catid=&topic=7&allstories=1)

http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/university/tutorials/tutorials.shtml#PS (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/university/tutorials/tutorials.shtml#PS)
http://www.hummiesworld.com/ (http://www.hummiesworld.com/)
Tutorials written for older versions of Elements are still doable in version 5.0, so don't discount them if they are for older versions. You'll still learn a lot from them.
You may want to consider becoming a paid subscriber to this site and get the magazine/newsletter which has tutorials and tips, as well as gaining access to the almost 200 video tutorials and many written tutorials:.
