Simple As A Leaf

Bet you have admired many tropical flowers but never paid much attention to their supporting greenery. The flowers on top of these leaves were very colorful but had seen better days and were on their way out. I did some vertical leaf shots for the lack of anything better to do, and as someone once told me, got lucky.

Ron, I almost missed this post. I really like this - kind of an abstract look. It shows how you can find things of interest to photograph in the most unlikely places. I'm definitely going to take a second look at things.

Ron, that is interesting. When I first saw your photo in the newly posted galleries I liked it but couldn't figure out what it was, at first I thought it was blinds. Now that I know that its a leaf, I like it even more. Great detai.;)
