Nice photo Rusty.
Hmmm, I still have to find where Bill found his crop
Tony I like the painting effect you created.
Will post mine later on today

Well, we sure are off and running :)
billz - a very stealthy crop - ingenuity at work
TonyW - great job creating texture in the flat sky
Glenda - I like both but have no idea what "ISO cube tile" is
Bamagirl - two good techniques; really like the second with "swirls"
echoblue - torpedoes away!
Zeria - really like the contrast punch
lisabee - great presentation of a crop I like
tootie501 - is that a westimom sketch? if not, can you provide a link to instructions?
peaches - you mixed "several things" well - love the frame
I can't wait to see what is yet to come. We sure have lots of very talented people hanging out here :D
Hmmmmm, guess I should do something with it.

Rusty - thanks and thanks for the challenge this week. I was dabbling around with that Impressionist filter again. Amazing the things it will do but it has so many things to adjust I'm sure I'll never be able to figure out just what they all do (or for that matter do them again) - but the settings I used for that one I did save for possible future use.

Thanks Rusty ... you picked a great image to work with. Everyone's entries are creative!
For those looking for my crop, if you look in the "G" of the word governor you'll see the blue of the Wisconsin state flag from along the left edge of the original photo. The state seal is over the turbulent water.

Gary,
Please put me out of my misery....what does the speech bubble say? I can't read it no matter what angle and how close to the screen I go - glasses on or off!

Bayla, I'm not sure exactly what the bubble says,
but, apparently Gary saw something most of you missed -- he is attempting to catch the big bronze (or maybe copper) dragonfly hovering over the water lily :)

Sorry, I... Ummmm... didn't really look that close after I posted.:o
It says.. "If I only had my rod, I could catch that thing"
I really thought that guy was fishing until I zoomed in and looked closer.

Nice additions keep coming in...
Gene - I think the vignette is perfect for your chalk/charcoal effect
Larry - :)
Norma - I never would have thought of using Neon Glow and ending up with a "normal type" of result.
Gary - when I took the picture all I could think of was, "This would make a nice panorama"
Smiles - late is often worth waiting for.
We still have 2-1/2 more days and some of our "crop regulars" haven't posted yet. Hmmmm, might be some end of the season vacations.
