Thank you Rusty! I also like the old barns and any building really, that has seen it's better days :) I was thrilled when I saw that one! I had to pull over and take that picture!!

Yesterday was a beautiful day for picture taking, so I talked my wife into going for a drive with no destination in mind. Found these beauties :) :)

Lovely shots, my favourite of the barns is the second one from the left, it almost looks kind of chapel-like in its shape and windows,

Don't you just love old barns? And old houses? And old??? I carouse around northern Arkansas on the back roads and find many old, abandoned barns. Have to be careful there, though. Those back roads are sometimes guarded heavily by illegal "growers". They sure don't want "revenooers" snooping around to confiscate their source of income.

That aside, your gallery is wonderful. Keep up the great work.

Charles, your gallery is beautiful. The old barns and school house are very pretty. Like Shari said, not too many around anymore here either. At least not that I have ever come across.

Yesterday was such a beautiful sunny day I took my wife and we just started driving out in the country. We went on roads in the area I know I have never been on in my life. I was on the look-out for old buildings knowing there are not that many out there anymore, but they can be found if you keep searching! I probably could not find these again because I really have no idea what roads I was on anymore!!! :eek:
