We are home from the hospital! YIPPEE!

My husband is doing really well, all things considered. I think the skill of his surgeon has gone a long way in making his recovery easier than it might have been.

And we've had two bits of very good news. The CT scan of his lungs came back "extraordinarily clear" and pathology found no cancer in the lymph nodes which were examined.

We meet with the oncologist again next week to further define his next step. But for now it's celebration time...alright, so we are absolutely exhausted and "celebrating" will look a lot like taking a long nap!

Thank you for the prayers and encouragment. I'm looking forward to catching up on the forum threads and seeing what's in the gallery.

Bill, we decided to push off the nap until later this afternoon. Mr. Lorri wanted a change of scenery so I drove him over to a nearby park to see what sort of road signs I might encounter!
