Rusty,
Easy Street - boy would I love to live there! Pretty home, yours?

Easy Street is in the next town over, about 8 miles from my house. Would you believe this is two streets over...

Somebody had a sense of humor when that area was platted in the late 1940s or early '50s. Alas, they are parallel streets. Had they intersected, you know what my picture would have been :D
I never could get an angle that looked good with the sign so I moved it (the sign) to a house around the corner from where I live. I don't consider that cheating 'cause I took both pictures this afternoon :)

These holiday weekends get us all off to a slow start!
Pat - Blueberry Bert looks great as always, and I really like the first image of the simple one for the Friesen property.
Rusty - It looks like Wealthy is just a couple blocks away from Wall Street as well. That must be a sign that a bull market is near!!:D
Thanks for getting us out of the starting blocks.

Galiano,
I love that little guy running away from the water in your Danger sign.

Galiano (Helen), the "People are eating..." sign is GREAT!! It had me laughing out loud - and I had to do a doublecheck before I noticed the traces of the erased words. :D

Great signs so far - starting with Easy Street and the always welcome Blueberry Bob to more and more dangerous possibilities.
Run over by a roller skate or a dam bust or a bike wheel thief or bomb test or hidden bad road - who wouldn't be a sorehead?
My all-time fav sign is the international tsunami running uphill guy but I can't find the pic I used for a theme here a while ago.

If I were handing out awards for this week's photo theme, I think Steven would have it. Love the composite of signs! It's a good reminder of how cluttered our lives are AND it's just plain fun to look at!!

...although (thinking still after looking again at all the postings so far) I would really, really like to have a copy of the "People eating....children..." sign for the play area in my backyard!!

I have always loved Steven's work, and this composite is no exception! I do have one question, though. Why does the man in the crosswalk also seem to be carrying a purse??? It doesn't make any sense, unless..... of course.... this is a silhouette of Gary?!? ;)
I really think everyone's pictures deserve applause (although Steven always seems to work the hardest on his, darn you, Steven!) I especially like "People are eating children" and "Deer may attack your dog." Who knew Bambi could be such a fearsome creature?

Kim- Surely you carried a Charlie Brown or Davey Crockett Lunch Box to school? These days though I think kids carry a pocket full of their parent's cash instead.

Pat -
Steven - For your information, I carried a Brady Bunch lunch box to school! And it was never confused for a purse! Admit it Steven, your cross-walker is carrying a European Carryall (aka - a purse!) :p

OMIG Ellen - the Big Blue Berry would be so crushed - it's Bert not Bob!
I'm finding these signs so funny but you gave me the biggest laugh tonight, tears and all; I really needed that so thanks very much!
It just so hit my funny-bone.... :D:D:D
I think perhaps you are right Kim...

Yipes Pat! I felt something was off when I posted that and now I have made a jam of things. My bad Bert, sorry.
I think I've put this link up before but here are some graphics that hopefully won't become international.

Really funny sign! Just how does one go about getting a sign that advocates such violence?
