I just loaded a bunch of pics for the 1st time into 'Smugmug'. On many of these I used PSE 4. I have been away from this fantastic hobby for several years but have found my interest rekindled. Some of these were taken in Korea while I was in the Army in 1955-1956. I used Noise Ninja and Focus Magic also on some pics.

I would appreciate feedback if you would be so kind.

Thank you

Dale: Welcome! It is great that you are digitizing your pictures from Korea - they are really interesting. The Sedona shots are fantastic and I love the one of Lake Mary Ronan. Thanks for sharing your work...

Dales, welcome to this fun group; I hope to see more of you.

Just curious (RE: Korea) ... how much, if any, color restoration work did you have to do in PSE? Were your originals slides or prints? Yours appear to have aged better than did mine from RVN taken ten years later.

I did very little color restoration on the 35mm slides. They had been kept in Carousals for most of the time after returning from there. Some of the pics. I could not get rid of the noise appearance so I did not post them. I also have many black & white prints as well as 8mm film that I am going to have transferred to CD or DVD. As I said, many of the slides had heavy grain appearance. I would like to find out how this can be fixed when it appears to be beyond the ability of Noise Ninja.

WOW, these photos are fantastic. Viewing them on my monitor, they look just terrific, very vibrant colors...the cute photos of the kids was not what I was expecting!

Nice job!! Sounds like the perfect hobby for a retired grandpa...what a great legacy you will be creating!
