Okay, im new here, as this is my first post, so pardon me if this is the incorrect forum to post this in.

Okay so i recently got married, and I wanted to design our thank-you cards. I have designed something in publisher, and of course the infamous white border is giving me nightmares. i cannot seem to get rid of it. ive looked and looked and looked, and cant find any info on how to possibly get it to print without borders. I have a Canon Pixma MP510. It does have a borderless printing option, but does not have many sizes to choose from. Just wondering if theres a way to get around this. I am using 4 x 5.5 (Folded) size note cards.

Thanks for anyone who tries to help me here.

Your printer should have the ability to change the print size to anything you wish to make it.

My Epson has "user defined" as the option I use and then a screen comes up where I enter my exact dimensions.

If you use Elements - when you hit print - your first screen has size options - and you choose "user defined" there also.

Then you go to your printer dialog and enter "user defined" then the dimentions.

Put in the unfolded size of your thank you card - don't forget to check "borderless" - then try printing.

Hi Justin

Welcome to the forums.:)

I have a different model Canon. So it might not be quite the same.
In the second tab "Page Setup" go to the paper size pulldown. Scroll all the way down to the bottom and double click the "custom" selection. This should bring up a dialogue box asking for the paper size.
Then go back and pick your borderless option off of the first tab.
Pay attention to the warning about enlarging the image when you pick borderless.:)

I'm not keen on borderless printing because it is so fiddly, but its your ink and paper.:D

Hi
I recently made Gift Certificates on beige folded notecards in Publisher 2002. I did not have a white Border. It may possibly be something in Publisher. If you would like to send a a PM I may be able to help you. You can send me the file if you like.
