Interesting... a little over the top for me.
She looked plasticy from this end. I would not have wanted to pay for that end result. Yet I am sure a lot of people would.;)

Isn't that kind of creepy.
They look like wax! Just not normal looking for my taste.
I agree there is someone out there that would want their kids looking like that!!!

That type of makeover on an adult might be more understandable, but on a child?......bizarre!

That is definitely scary! They do look like plastic dolls I used to buy in the store. And why on kids and babies?? Little over the top for me!

Not to my liking at all ...... let the natural beauty shine through.
Scrolled through some other examples ..... scary.
Let kids be kids I say.

That is just wrong and too freaky looking. Reminds me of the horror film Chucky. But yes, people do pay to have it done. I had a few customers at Olan Mills that wanted it done for their daughters that they enter in pagents.

The eyes just look too fake to me. There are a couple that looked good (one of the wedding shots, and one young girl), but my daughter didn't even have that much hair until she was 4! Goodness.

I agree it is just weird to want a child to not look like a sweet child anymore. I like the natural beauty each chlld has. It is ok to tweak a photo but a total makeover is to much.

Talk about overkill! I think all the natural beauty has been taken out of those kids...

Why do this to a child. From a pretty little girl to a grotesque parody of a plastic doll!!

Reminds me of the Bellissima (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0043332/) film by Visconti... Exactly what Kev says - the transformation of a beautiful normal child into an almost caricatural doll, or even worse, a freaky miniature adult.
I can't imagine a parent would actually LIKE something like that done to their child's pic.. but it's true some people do. :(

I hate to think what that does to a girl's self esteem to have mom touch up her photo that way or worse yet to have mom actually do that to her in real life...

Julie, I think you just hit the nail on the head - it's horrible when parents don't accept their children as they are, and want to force them into becoming "prettier" in a grotesque way like that...
It's absurd trying to convert human reality into such a false image of itself.

It really does creep me out looking at them, It's insane--But it is true , some people are so into this kind of stuff, poor kids having to deal with a parent that. I agree the EYES and Hair are so fake in most pics.
I am sure those pics are hanging on someones wall somewhere. And the parent is just so proud! SCARY!!
