Where are the contests and challenges?

I am reading about the various challenges and contests but can't find where they are introduced or where they are stored. All seems a bit willy-nilly to me. Can someone enlighten me?

There are 4 ongoing challenges at this time. All in the challenges and contests forum.
At present they are all weekly and all "organized" by members.

Grant has one hosted at his site. A photo is posted and you work on it however you see fit. Email Grant with your work and he posts it on his site.

All the others are hosted here usually with a thread to post your photo and another to post comments.

Billz has a photo 'theme of the week" starts Sunday morning done the following Saturday.

Kimiboo has a "homework assignment" she finds a tutorial or some technique and we apply it to our own photo. Starts Wednesday ..old threads/assignments never die.

There is also a crop of the week. By whoever is secretly chosen by the last person (TAG). An image is posted and we crop it to make a different photo.

All are for fun and open to all. Primarily aimed at helping us learn something.

Bonnie: Besides the challenges, we have two weekly "contests". Image of the Week (IOW) and Editor's Choices are a selection of images chosen from those posted by members in their galleries. They are chosen by moderator Tami Fry, and posted on Wednesday. Luckey winners have their images highlighted on the main Gallery page. Some info on this can be found here (http://www.photoshopelementsuser.com/forum/showthread.php?t=15158). On Monday, a rotating forum user posts their choices of images in a thread found in Pixel Hangout. It usually has "TAG IOW..." in it's name. Here (http://www.photoshopelementsuser.com/forum/showthread.php?t=27834) is last week's. Hope this helps clarify things for you...
