This (http://www.sacbee.com/static/newsroom/swf/april07/mother/)will rip out your guts and tear your heart to shreds but it's story telling photography at its finest. Be sure to turn on the Captions (lower left). This is not for everyone.

That was touching , that just reminds us of the struggles people face, and the loved ones who support them. My heart breaks for them and my tears flow. Thanks for posting this.

Lee, I followed this in the Sacramento Bee when it was first published and it was difficult reading then and it is difficult now but it makes you count your blesssings and also makes some of lifes problems seem small when compared to his story. He was a very brave boy and his mom was and is a very brave and classy lady.

Thank You So Much For Posting This. I Had Never Been In This Section Of The Forum. When I Saw The Header I Just Had To Look At It. My Wife Has Also Now Seen It And Neither Of Us Had Dry Eyes. We Can Identify With The Mother As We, Too, Lost One Of Our Own.
Once Again, Thank You For Sharing It. I May Not Be Much On Conversation, But I Will Now Be Reading Another Part Of The Forum.

Thanks once again.

Kind or reminds us what photography is all about. Capture the moment - emotion, pain, sturggle, triumph, the good times, the bad times ---- LIFE!

So sad. Brings tears to my eyes and my heart goes out to the mother. I too have a son with many medical problems. He was pemature and has had lots of medical handicaps. It breaks your heart to see your kids go through such hardship and pain.
