I don't know if any of you have explored the links on the site I referred to above, but one of them, this blog - http://citrusmoon.typepad.com/ has a couple of great links on it.

There's http://colr.org/ where you can type in a URL or upload an image and it will create a color scheme from the colors it contains, including the hex#'s.

Also a link to FontBrowser http://www.stcassociates.com/lab/fontbrowser.html which will list all the fonts on your computer and previews any font you click on, including typing text of your choice and enlarging the text.
