It's so hard for me to imagine what s (http://sevenels.net/flood/07flood.html)o many others are going through when I know how exhausted I am from my own little damage.
Mindboggling.

Wow, how tragic! I just cannot imagine what any of those people or the cleanup people are going thru! Thank god you weren't living where those houses got ripped apart! I'm getting some of that ....right now but I won't mention what it is!

Mary,
Your photos are so sad. Twenty-five years ago, we had an offer on a house right on the river bank in Winona. The job offer fell through and we never moved there, but to see places we remember is just such a sad thing. We loved the area so much, and would have moved there is a heartbeat. What a tragedy for Minnesota to have this and just after the bridge disaster. Our prayers are out for all those affected. Hope you will be okay.

Mary, the photos are heartbreaking. My prayers goes out to all the victims and hope that they will get the help they need. Hopefully the government will help them in some of the expenses and cleanup. I know that won't replace their personal belongings and loved ones lost, but sometimes the thought that people care will help them through the rough times. Sad indeed.:(

Oh, Mary...my heart breaks for all those affected. I have really come to despise water...it can be so horribly damaging...
