Online printing not printing changes made

Hi! I am new to photoshop...have been loving the changes you can make with this programme! However when I upload my nicely altered jpgs to the printing company I use online, the prints are returned to me without the changes made - ie: they are too dark like the original shots!

Any help would be grateful!
