Please excuse my questions-I've been having internet problems (that will hopefully be fixed on Monday) and have been unable to do much research.

Premiere Elements looks like the proggy I've been looking for. I want to make photo DVD's that will work on any DVD player (like my Grandma's!) Does Premeire Elements do this? I'm pretty clueless when it comes to the technical part of making CD/DVD's but I know the ones I make on my computer now don't seem to play on my older DVD player-and I would love to be able to send DVD's to people and have them work in their DVD players, because a lot of my older relatives don't even own computers (if you can imagine that !) Anyway, I just want to make sure before I buy the software-also, can I buy just Premeire Elements? I have Elemnts 3 already, so I don't need that.
Thanks so much-
Deb

Deb,

Hi :)

The DVD's you make with Premiere Elements will work on any DVD player from the last 2 years or so. My DVD player is a little over 2 years old and they work on it just fine.

Yes, you can buy Preimere Elements without PE 3. It is $99.00 on the adobe site. You could also do an internet search to see what the best price would be.

If you have questions about specific DVD players playing DVD's get me the name and model and I'll find out if they are compatible but as I said most any player that is 2 years new should play them with no problem:)
