Adding Music

Hello Everybody. I am new to this forum, Premiere Elements and really to digital photography for the most part. I am in the midst of teaching the program to myself and am actually doing pretty well on my first big DVD project which is comprised of stills from a vacation in Hawaii with titles and music. I do have a few questions on the music side:

Are ipod music files not compatible? If not is there any way to convert them?

What is the easiest way to import tracks from a CD?

Does anybody know a source of mood or other music that I can download from (legally!)?

Music on CD Question…
Look into Windows Media Player (I have Version 10)
Go to Rip Tab
Insert CD in drive
Follow the instructions
ALSO
This can be done with iTunes
See iTunes Help
In Index type “ripping”
“Importing songs from CDs “will pop up.
Follow instructions

No suggestions for the mode music for slideshows right now.

Thanks ATR. Should that work with iTunes files also or just those from CDs that I have put on my ipod? It seems like when I go into the iTunes folder while trying to retrieve a file to import that Premiere Elements does not recognize the iTunes format? Sorry to sound like a dope!!

Thanks to all. The iTunes export/import worked like a charm. Very simple actually, just need to know the tip. So far things are going well on the project.

I am enjoying the forum. Especially the tips and sample pics from other contributors. The pics that look like paintings and those that are B/W with one or two color items were great. Glad I found this forum and look forward to using it and hopefully contributing.
