Tablet Recommendations???

Hi there, I was just wondering what you all thought about the use of tablets with Photoshop. Are they particularly useful? - Strikes me that they would be especially for more detailed work.

Assuming it is worthwhile, what are your recommendations on brand/model?

It really comes down to what kind of things you do and although some people find them better than a mouse there are also some here that don't. I'm in between - I use the mouse for most things but for detailed selections or for things like smudging edges to blend them better a basic tablet works best for me

Thanks Tony - I did do a search but got a bit petrified at the number of results I got back. Looks like the Wacoms are the way to go - will start with the Graphire and see how we go from there.
