I met a Interior Decorator about six months ago. She seen some of my photo's and wants to buy all of the B/W & Sepia Prints that I have.
She wants 8 x10, I wouldn't have a clue what to charge her. Any suggestions?
Are there any particular settings I need to change?
Thanks in advance!!
Here's one example.

Good for you!! Are you selling hard prints or digi prints? For a hard print...$50-100 unframed.... for digi prints...boost it up. Because she'll make prints and sell them for $$$$.
The coloring I thought was too monotone. It needed to "pop" a bit.

i ran your photo through one of my new action sets from Nichole Van. She hads contrasts, light, and darkening shadows to her black and whites. Also, I used a combo of a chocolate and blue tone, ran a soft black vignette around the edge and lightened the bird a bit more to make him pop out. I think his feathers needed to be whiter...

I can't wait to see your results. How exciting is it to be recognized by an interior designer!!!! Congrats!! You know if you venture over to the mpix.com forum, the photographers there may be able to help you with pricing your photos as well. Another place is art.com, check out their prints that are comparable to yours. Whatever you settle with, please do not sell yourself short...it is better to start high, then negotiate down.....Good luck! I am excited for you!!

Hey Denise!! I got my actions from NicholeVan already! I wanted to share the first one with you!!
I am so grateful for the information and inspiration you have shared with me, if ever you need me for anything you let me know!! Photography has always been a hobby for me.I was such a hyper person I could not sit still long enough to make it a career. About 4 years ago I reinjured my lower back again. Not working like to have driven me crazy, so I just picked up my camera and started shooting. :D I then wanted more out of my photo's so my hubby bought PSE 5 for my birthday. Soo here we go!! Let me know what you think!! Thanks again Denise!!:)

Hi Smiles,
I don't know how I missed your response. Loving it......what a difference it makes...
now try this for a effect.....Take your original colored photo...spruce it up by adding some saturation...flatten...and insert it into the OPEN photo that was just created by the NV BW essential between the Original Photo and Pop Photo...wow...add some chocolate..ohhh. Now you got some warmth....now lower the opacity of the colored photo layer.....with the chocolate...now you have chocolate mint:D use a little of the sharpening action...now that wood stands out....
