I have a photo that was taken for our church. We have three new baby girls that were born at our church and we have a picture of the mothers with there baby's but the picture is just a little fuzzy. Is there any touch up that can be done to the photo?

Thanks
Pastor

Hi there ...

Ummm .. well a little sharpening may help but there isn't a way that you will be able to put it into focus. Just wish there was a way to correct this type of problem but there really isn't.

Try sharpening it and hopefully it will make it look better :)

Wendy,

Thanks for you feedback, but kind of new to this, how do i go about sharping it up?

Thanks

Probably the best way is to use the unshapen mask ...

Try a Radius of around 1% of the ppi
Amount around 75%
Threshold 1

Filter>Sharpen>Unsharpen mask

See how that turns out ... but you probably have to adjust the figures :)

I have just played around with it and doing a levels adjustment certainly improves it:

Enhance>adjust Lighting>Levels

The use do each of the channels individually (see at the top of the levels box)

Move the slides inwards until they are below the "hump" of the levels histogram .. like this:
