i have noticed a number of threads re: Video not visable.
i have just spent 4 VERY FRUSTRATING days trying to solve the problems that i have been having.
I think that i have a solution 4 Windows XP users (at least this is what worked for me).
The problem as i see it:
This website makes streaming video available so users can view instructional videos;
Recently a production change was made;
This required an upgrade from older Quicktime versions to at least V7.x;
V 7.x can cause lots of problems when installed... the recommended procedure is to uninstall using Control Panel-> install/uninstall software;
This may require a Registry clean (i used Norton System Works but i'm sure products like Registry Booster etc would work);
When the update is installed IT DEFAULTS TO 'Streaming - STreaming movies' being unchecked (ie disabled)!!
so.. the solution (for me) was to load Quicktime (independently of Explorer), and Edit->Preferences-> QuickTime Preferences-> File Types...
then click the Streaming box.
There are many other Quicktime settings... but the defaults in Quicktime V 7worked for me... you may have to experiment.
Other than this, the only other changes i made were to Explorer. I used Tools-> internet options-> Programs-> Manage Add-Ons...
Look for duplicate entries of QuickTime & disable those that look like duplicates... you may have to test to see which one works.
I don't know if this will work for other folks... there may be other issues.
Good luck!
