magazine cover

I'm looking to make a magazine cover. Recently some friends did a HUGE remodeling to their home. I would love to surprize them with a little book.
I know there has been a few items in the forum about how to make a magazine cover
Just cant seem to find it now.....

There's also a site to download the heading for the name of the magazine and I can't find it now. Maybe someone else will come along who knows the site.

Hi Deborah - The first link in Norma's post is what I used to download the text templates for the magazine covers I did. Making a magazine cover is a super way to get familiar with layers and all they can do. There are still three of them in my gallery. Good luck and have fun!

Linda, love the Parents mag cover. I assume it's your daughter or son?

Thanks, Norma. That Parents mag cover was, truly, my first major project and the photo is my daughter, my son-in-law and my first, and only, grandson! It was fun to work on the project, and I saved the whole file so I have been able to insert other people's photos and their "stats". It makes a great new baby gift.
