My family stopped at Port Gamble this past weekend. Nice place. This artist was sitting in front of his shop sketching. He had the most wonderful face. I have three photos from Port Gamble in my Gallery. I'd enjoy your comments.

Norm, he certainly does have an interesting face! Great for photographing...did he know you were taking his picture?
And I love the picture you took of the wedding rings! That is beautiful!

Hi Norm,
That's a great photo. I like the tight crop. There's so much depth and detail that you could make a great "sketch" with it.
Your gallery is one of my favorites - the dance images are nothing short of amazing. The ballerinas are beautiful athletes and your pictures do a great job of capturing their grace.
(It seems like every visit to someone's gallery to check out a new photo leaves me wondering where the last half hour went...:) )
Have fun,
Steve

Norm, I saw the artist shot in your gallery and thought it was beautiful and interesting. I think it would be great converted to a black and white shot too.

Norm,
The tight shot of the artist's face is some of the best real photography I've seen in any gallery in a long time. Most people would have stopped with the picture of the fence and sign in it, a nice vacation shot, but you saw the difference. I can see you shot it that way, rather than cropping the other picture. A job well done.

Norm, distinguished face indeed, great shot. I like the hands holding the rings also. Very nice gallery.

Ron - Thanks for noticing the difference. I saw his face as we drove up and immediately knew that I had to photograph it. I would have spent hours photographing his face given the opportunity. He had the personality to go with it. A most wonderful gentleman and artist.
