I wanted to post to say THANK YOU to whom ever posted my gallery on the Editors Choice board this week, I'm shocked and really excited to be there.:D

Most, if not all of the effects seen in my gallery are done by becoming a member of this forum and receiving help, plus being a subscriber to the site where the videos/tutorials are PRICELESS. After I was picked this week I decided I better crack down and learn more, to beat all I have impressed my daughter. Let me just say to impress a 13 year old is virtually impossible. Best yet, I think she is hooked on PSE now...........it's contagious.:p

I added more photos so please take a peek. Any thoughts on how I can improve would be greatly appreciated.

Hey, Jen...Congrats to you! I noticed your picture a few days ago, and loved it. If you don't mind, can you tell me what tutorial you used to make this creation? Really, really cool!

I am like you...everything, about 90 percent, I've learned from subscribing to this website. The videos, tutorials, the help from the amazing and talented people...like you said, "priceless."

Welcome to the forum, and your gallery is just wonderful.

Jen,
I think impressing a 13 year old girl ranks way up ahead of even Editor's Choice :)

The recognition was well deserved. Like you, I am thankful for the resources here.

Hi Sela,

The boxed effect is an add-on from shutterfreaks that I purchased before I joined this forum. That was just about the only thing I knew, but wow have things have improved.:D:D. Thanks for the comments from you and everyone on this thread. Let me know if you need more info.

Rusty,

I totally agree with you on the 13 year old vs. Editors choice thing.

I do have a question, when they pick the Picture of the week and Editors choice is it based off your newly submitted pictures in your gallery or your main selection? I haven't seen anything posted regarding that.

THanks, Jen

Congratulation...Your gallery work is great. This forum is just full of knowledge. You have the breakout technique down to a science.

Thanks Vesta.

Now I have to search out and learn putting a collage together. My husband's Fire Department competed in the annual Goodwill Games doing numerous relays and events and I took pictures. Imagine that!!!!!:p They came in first and I'm really proud of them so that deserves some recognition on the Department wall.

Well, I would like to put something together for them in a collage about the size of an 8x10 or a little bigger. I have yet to look but I hope that if there isn't a tutorial on that, someone will point me in the right direction to get this started.;)

I have worked on a few more things and posted a collage of the Fire Fighter competition and then took a few pictures at the opening season football game for my son and loved this candid shot of one of the players so I added a little "PSE5 spice" and came up with a fun layout. I hope his mother is happy with it......I know she will be surprised.........:D Isn't that the fun part???

Take a peek at my gallery........any helpful hints would be great.;)
