Hi Everyone,

I finally got "a round toit" and updated my gallery. Got to remove those ugly black borders left over from my website that has a black background. Please note that these are mostly old photographs that have been tuned up with PSE, but not altered to any great degree. Should have some "painterly" effects in the gallery in a few weeks.

Bob, you have some wonderful photos in your gallery. I love the lighthouse photo. Was that taken in Maine, by any chance? When we were on vacation there a few years ago, I was lucky enough to get a few lighthouse shots.

Hi Everyone,

Thank you for the feedback. The lighthouse is indeed Maine taken in 1960 with an Argus a-four camera. I have a bunch of lighthouse pictures. I did a calendar for my own use featuring these lighthouse shots. Printed the calendar on 11 by 17 inch stock so that the calendar part was big enough to write on with Sharpie pens. Liked the results so much that I now have about three years of old calendars.

If you are anywhere near Gloucester, MA in the summer, don't miss taking a trip on the Thomas E. Lannon. They don't always have harp music, but it is an ideal way to pass a few hours. Note their website:

The rowboat is one of my favorites. Like close up shots of flowers, it proves the saying: Less is more!

You have no idea how much joy I get out of photography.
