Does anyone know where I can get the ACO file for skin tones -- I had it before the great crash and I've been searching the web but no luck on the file yet.

Here is the link to the download:
http://www.retouchpro.com/resources/fileinfo.php?id=8
When you down the file, inzip it and you will find several formats in there ... one set is swatches and you can load these into Elements. You need to scroll down slightly to find the download button :)

Thanks -- Retouch pro had Bruce's Hair and Skin tone -- so I downloaded it and used the swatches for PSP -- they are in PSE now.
However I'm waiting to get the Photoshop ones from Tim as I think they'll have a greater range of colors.

Hi Tim,
Yes they are ... the download contains haircolour.jpg, skintones.jpg then a PSPpals zip file and a PSswatches zip file.
Once unzipped the PSswatches zip file has both Bruces Flesh Tones.aco and Bruces Hair.aco files in it :)

You are right Wendy -- that is where I got the swatches. I seem to remember the one I had was more extensive but it could be bad memory on my part.
But I would never had thought that the files would be in a bruces.zip file. I may have passed it over earlier today thinking it wouldn't be of any value.
There is a lot of websites with information on skintones -- at least I discovered that much. I also found a couple of jpeg files that would have worked in a pinch.

Will ...
Bruce did the files originally as jpgs and someone else later converted them into swatches. :)
