My attempt at the Orton effect...

I have just posted my first attempt at this. What a great effect!! Now I will need to go through some of my old pictures and see what I can find to try this on!!

Great job Becky,
I like taking water photos. I am also never sure,...what type of exposure, or the ' A,S, P, M, 'or whatever the letters are to get the best effect.
It is a tough area for me, and yours is wonderful.

Also, I really like your pics of your Energy Nova's, especially the one titled "Another attempt....." Each one comes out different. That's the neat part of doing this tutorial. :D

Your water fall looks really great. I like the Orton effect as well. It seems to work well on a lot of different photos. Keep doing good stuff and having fun with it all.

The Orton Effect makes my average shots look like someone much better than me shot them. The good shots look even better. It's addictive, I can't stop using it.

I love the pic too! Nice pic I'm sure without the effect but the effect does make it so much more! I enjoyed looking at your gallery, lots of great effects. The tractor one gave me an idea of something I could do for my father-in-law and pics of his tractor. ;)

A couple of you mentioned the tractor pic. I still have things that I am trying to figure out on this pic to make it look more realistic. I haven't worked with it for awhile. If in your experimenting you come up with something that would help-please let me know!! Good Luck!!
