Painted effect

I saw a picture done by Hamish and it inspired me to try to do this effect. After I found the anisotropic thing it was easy.
Here is my attempt.

Tina, this looks great. This technique is my current favorite. You can experiment with running the diffuse filter more than once. On a couple of photos I've run it three times. The size of your photo is another variable. On a larger file you might need to do it more than twice. On a smaller one, usually once is enough. Again, very nice.

It took me a while to figure out who Anita was or was it Westiemom. I had to ask but was told you are one in the same. I just had a duh moment as to where the Wesitemom came from .
