I saw a picture done by Hamish and it inspired me to try to do this effect. After I found the anisotropic thing it was easy.
Here is my attempt.

Tina, this looks great. This technique is my current favorite. You can experiment with running the diffuse filter more than once. On a couple of photos I've run it three times. The size of your photo is another variable. On a larger file you might need to do it more than twice. On a smaller one, usually once is enough. Again, very nice.

It took me a while to figure out who Anita was or was it Westiemom. I had to ask but was told you are one in the same. I just had a duh moment as to where the Wesitemom came from . You are a Westie Mom, the dog is a Westie. I enjoy your gallery and all the creative things that you seem to come up with and share. Thanks for all the help and encouragement.

Thanks Tina. Yes, I'm a Westie Mom. In other words, I'm owned by a Westie who allows me to play with her, buy her toys and treats and just treat her like a little princess.:D

Great job on the image. The image appear's so quiet and peaceful. Great place to be with a good book.
