Has anyone tried to run Adobe Photoshop in windows on a mac book. I installed parallels desktop then installed windows xp pro sp2 and then installed Adobe PSE5 and received an error stating that the minimum screen size had to be 1024x768 and max color needs to be 256.
The screen size was set correctly but the color setting was set at high 32bit. Not sure what to do, other than from MAC People is that the video graphs card can not support that combination.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi ...
... and welcome to the forum :)
I am running it just fine on the MacBook Pro with Windows XP Pro & SP2. Have you been into the Control Panel (on Windows) and change the settings in there. That may work ...
I have also run in OK on the iMac and on the PowerMac G5
David Ash is also running it on a Mac .. and I think it maybe a MacBook but I am not sure :)

Yes, I'm running Parallels on a MacBook at the highest resolution (1280x800). I haven't had any problems running PSE5. Are you running in windowed mode or full screen?

Running in window mode, not full screen mode, did not do any allocation of memory in Parallels whatever the default is. Also changed the screen size to the 1280X800 and got the same error.
One additional thing I also installed Premiere Elements 3 and it said it had an issue with the display mode and would not let me startup windows anylonger. I had to do a system restore to remove premiere all together.
