I have tried to download the Film Strip from the video on Element Users, Part 3, by Matt Kloskowski. The film strip that goes into my Custom Shapes. I can download it but I'm wondering if the download is corrupt or if it's just my PC. Windows Internet just starts flashing on & off & I finally have to log off of my PC to get it to stop. I have tried to download this numerous times. Then the download isn't in my Custom Shapes list, but it is copied to
C:\\programfiles\adobe\PhotoshopElements4.0\preset s\customshapes. I hope I have made myself clear. Thanks. Lois

Hi Lois,
Is the file you downloaded a zipped file and did you unzip it before you put it in the Presets/Custom Shapes? It should have a .CSH extension. And you will also have to restart Elements before it will show up.:)
I have never heard of the problem you are having with the flashing off and on.

Hi Diane,
I downloaded this file to Lois' Downloads, which I have done with all of my downloads. Then when I click on the Download to open it - that's when Windows Internet Explorer starts flashing on & off really fast. I have to shut off my computer to make it stop & it's quite an undertaking just getting the darn computer turned off. I have had trouble with my Internet Explorer today giving me an error message saying something like it has shut down & Windows is trying to find the problem. I think I will have to contact my tech support & have them help me. I have Vista & I have had all kinds of problems with it at times. I tired to go back to Windows XP, but this is a new Dell computer & it came with Vista installed. One of their tech manager talked me into sticking with Vista. I think they've found a pidgeon. :D Thanks for your response, Diane.
