Is there a way to keep/save the mark for printing tags?
Or how would you do it if you wanted to leasurely select photo's (let's say 30 every night) for online printing?
I end up having to start over evry evening...
your thoughts are welcome...
PS. and its goodnight from me, see you tomorrow!

Are you in the Window or Mac environment? Knowing that will help answer the question or have a better idea of what might work. Have a good night's sleep.

I've never heard of the mark for printing tag. Maybe it's something that is not in Album 2.
I don't print online. I print at home or at a local drugstore. I have my own print category with date tags under it (Print>print09.05). I select the current print tag, export to disk, and off to the drugstore. This leaves a tag record of what images have been printed when.
I suggest you might want to try something similar. Then do a select all on your personal tag, then apply the mark for printing tag to the lot. (If that's the way it works)

Jan is from Belgium so "mark for printing tags" may be losing something in the translation ... just a thought :)

So it really is an opportunity to learn something in a different way of thinking. Yes!

Nownow Wendy,
Being a Belgian usually means speaking French, English and German fluently besides Dutch, so nothing is 'lost in translation', on the contrary, I always use English software versions:
when viewing pictures in 'Photo Review' (F11), one can right-click and select ' Mark for printing':
have a look at this:

When you are finished viewing and marking and you close PhotoReview, PE asks if you want to print them:
http://www.ict.teno.be/oostende/markforprinting2.jpg
whether you do or don't, the tags are lost.
So back to my question, suppose you want to take your time in selecting pictures for printing, how would you select them and find your selection back in the morning?
As far as I can see, there is no way to do this with this feature - a pity.
So, I end up constructing a tag 'ToPrint' to tag the pictures I select and send those for printing...
what do you think?

Hi Jan,
Well I have to admit that I can't help at all on this one. Looks like you are in the Organiser and being a Mac user our version doesn't have that. So thats why I hadn't come across Mark for Printing before :)
We visited Belgiium earlier this year and it amazed me how many languages the people spoke .... afraid the best I can manage is Spanish and a little French ... :)
Your point sounds like a good one to add to the "Wish List" for future versions of Elements.
Where abouts in Belgium are you ?

Hi Wendy (and the rest of the world),
I'm from Brugge, Belgium and I'm using a PC, not a Mac. It is certainly possible you don't have that feature. I have seen worse.
Do you have any official ties with Adobe? if so, this little problem should be on the wishlist!
cheers!

Hi Jan,
None of us have ties to Adboe we are all just users of Elements but there is a "Wish List" section right at the bottom of the forum ... and I suspect that the suggestions do find their way to Adobe via the site. So its worth adding yours to it.
Oh Brugge is beautiful we visited in March this year ... we were staying in the Netherlands and took a trip across to Brugge. :)
