Hi all,,,

I have drawn a dissolved squiggle with the brush (Default brush 14)...I want to have 2 identical copies if the stroke pattern in differant colours....

..the problem is when I select the stroke I just drawn and use the fill to add my new colour there are lots of little spots than arent filled...

what I would like to do is copy the shape then replace the existing colour with a new one....but am having troubles doing this..any pointers or help..??

Thanks all!

I think I understand what you are trying.
If so, try this. I am assuming your squiggle you like is on its own
layer. Then, ctrl+j so now you have 2 of them.
With the new one active, change its hue/sat. You can either use an
adjustment layer, or go to enhance>color>hue/sat and check colorize.
Hope this helps.

Hi Alu and Michelle,

I reproduced what you did trying to use the Replacement Brush tool. I got the same results you did. All of the colors that were a perfect match were changed. Because of anti-alias some of the colors were not an exact match so they were not changed. Michelle's solution works because it changes all pixels, not just the ones that match.

Cheers,

Bob
