Hi NG,
Can a non-member post a question to the Forums? Someone has asked me a question by sending it to my e.mail address: bob@s-i-inc.com. This is fine, but I would rather have both the question and answers posted.
Cheers,
Bob

Anyone that registers can post in this forum. But only subscribers can access the 100's of tutorials, and have personal gallery space.

Robert,
As Jane said you must be a member to post, maybe you could post the question on the forum on behalf of that person.
Personally I don't think it is a good idea for you to include your email address in your posts, you are inviting a lot of spam and unwanted emails.
Just my opinion :-)

Hi Guys,
Thanks for the information. I have been using the Internet for so many years (since the late 1980s) such that my e.mail address is "well known" to the spam "industry." So it causes little additional harm (marginal cost to you economist out there) to post it to you good folks in our community. I have a pretty good junk mail filter and a huge digital trash can:).
I will tell Eddie to register and post. All of you can encourage him to join.
Cheers,
Bob

Just a clarification about your reading of Jane's post.
Registering is not the same as being a Subscriber.
Given: Subscriber area and Forums area are different.
If you register (sign up) for forums (no charge), you can read the questions and/or post your responses. If you want access to the designated Subscriber Areas, then you need to sign up for that at the fee given. Further, you do not need to be a Subscriber in order to register for the forums. All that is my current understanding of the rules as of this posting.
Is that what you said?

Hi ATR,
I do realise there is a difference. I am both a forum member and a subscriber.
I was merely reiterating the fact that you can not post on this forum unless you join, it is the same for most forums I believe.
The main question related to posting on the forum, I used the word member, perhaps that was misleading :o
