I just got a copy of Kelby's Photoshop Elements 4 Book and it didn't take long for me to come up with my first question. This is probably very remedial but I'll ask anyway.
One of the first recommendations he makes is to immediately back up photos to a cd that you are importing from your camera. What happens if you just happen to be importing a small # of photos. Can you burn them to a cd then add more later? Or is the cd locked once you burn to it?
I burn music cd's quite often so I know those must be locked but I didn't know if it was the same for photo storage.

Yes, it is possible to burn a "session" to a CD and leave the disc "open" for future sessions. The nomenclature of the various CD-authoring packages differ from each other a bit, but those are the key terms.

Cool, thanks for the info. I'd be following Scott's instructions for burning using Elements.
