Thanks the kind words.
Tom gaggle is a great word to describe the scratches on this photo. Several times I nearly quite working on this restoration but now I'm glad it's finished. This was a photo of my great great uncle that was taken at a Civil War Reunion.
Andrea, most of the images I've displayed on the forum are family photos that go back to the Civil War. My mother was the keeper of the pictures till her passing a few years ago and the photos ended up in possession. I have number of boxes of family photos that I'm in the process of sorting and scanning. The family were into taking pictures and passing them on to the next generation of family.

Thanks for your kind words. I am very blessed by my relatives in that they save their photo treasures and passed them to next generation. I have a long way to go on this journey to restore the family photos.
