Grrrrrrrrrrr! PSE 5 Problem!

I just bought PSE 5, and I love it...EXCEPT... when I use the T tool (Text) It always shutd the program down. It's really frustrating when you are trying to put text into something and it just closes the whole program down. I don't know what to do??? I've reinstalled PSE 5, and I have no Idea what to do next. Please if someone could help that would be WONDERFUL!! Thanks-In-Advance!

weird...Not really sure but someone might know & respond soon:) Out of curiosity did you have your firewall turned off before you installed it. That can cause problems with some software. Turn off the firewall then reinstall.:D

You know, this happens to me as well and I always get some kind of microsoft error and it will just shutdown, no saving. It happened this morning after working for 5 hours on a photo!!! GRRRRRR.. not sure why, but my guess is virtual memory and I'm still trying to figure it out...

You know, I'm guessing one of your fonts might be corrupted, especially as it seems to happen with the Text tool. Check out this online tool:

Use it to step through your fonts and see if you can find the one that is bad.
