This Jitney carried passengers around Portland Oregon back in the
1920's.

I'm always amazed when one is able to pull so much detail out of "darkness".
Photoshop is truly magic.

Nice job, John.

John,

Don't you think restoration is great? I get all warm and fuzzy when they are completed, even though I take lots of Advil while doing them, with the eye strain and all:)

Great job, as usual:D

Rusty, Andrea...

Thanks for your words. Andrea, yes I do get a lot satisfaction in restoring old photos.
Life is much easier now that I use a Wacom with my restorations.
The old photos seem to multiply quicker from scanning table into the computer than the restorations I complete. I work on my old family photos when not working on client restorations.

I have a number of restorations on my website if you want to take a peek.

Thanks again.

John:)

Hello John,

very nice restoration.

I started just this week scanning in a few old family photos and negatives (to which we don't have the photos) and trying to in some cases (with the negatives) just identify who was on them. It was very enjoyable and I'm looking forward to doing some more.

I just took a quick glance over at your website, it's really great, I'll be going back to have another look :)

Hi Lisa,

Thanks for your kind words.

Look forward to seeing some of future restorations. We are so lucky when we find these family treaures and give them new life.

John, this is another amazing restoration. I just looked at your website. It's wonderful. I'm not sure what I like best, the lighthouses, your restorations or Chelan.

Anita,

Glad you like the images on the new website. The new site layout and color tones have a real plus for displaying the photos.

Thanks again for the kind words.

John:)
