Adobe Reader problem

I'm a new guy, just getting started with photo editing and I'm having a very basic problem. It seem that when I want to open a pdf file it always opens in PSE 5.0 edit screen. How do I get it to open just as a pdf file in Adobe Reader 8 (my version)? Thanks for your help. Jim

Jim: (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Bauchtanz_Chryssanthi_Sahar.jpg) Edit>File Association and uncheck the pdf box should do the trick.
